CSL Staff Commit $6,000 to 2012 United Way Campaign

Live United!Reprinted from this mornings’ United Way of Greater Kansas City Employee Campaign Manager e-Blast:

Community Services League, a United Way partner agency, once again accomplished 100 percent participation in their campaign this fall.

This is the third straight year of reaching that amazing goal. CSL’s staff of 13 raised $6,000, which is 17 percent more than last year. In fact, they raised more money this year even with fewer staff, and their average gift amounts continue to grow, going from $247 in 2009, to $301 in 2010 to $461 this year. Community Services League total gift this year is $6,000.

Some of the incentives used during the campaign were a “United Way day off” for every employee who gives at the Caring Club level or above. Also, since they had 100% participation, there were drawings for gift cards. ECM Doug Cowan said the campaign was a success because the staff truly believes in United Way and is thankful for its partnership with United Way.

He wants Community Services League’s success to be a testament to the fact that even a small organization can make a big difference. Indeed, they can.

Congrats to the CSL Staff!
